Ludovic Guillaume


Ludovic Guillaume, co-owner and Chair of the Board at Kanghong is a Franco-American based in Seattle with 30 years of experience in China. He is an early pioneer in this country. He started sourcing in China in 1989 with a vision to help French importers to find reliable factories in China. He has opened offices and established operating entities in China, France, United States and has shipped out goods to more than 30 countries on 5 continents.

Over the last two decades Ludovic has led the transformation of the company from a multi material trading company in the 90's, to a product development and manufacturing organization focused on providing high quality, brand focused product, packaging and point-of-sale items for high-end beverage industry, cosmetic and fragrance companies around the world.

In 2005, he and Zhao purchased 100% of Kanghong, a plastic injection factory in Zhuhai (China), adding manufacturing to his organization. Kanghong is a WFOE (Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise). He has transformed this entity to what it is now today, a plastic injection factory specialized in eyewear committed to supporting environmentally friendly practices with a unique experience in biobased plastics, biodegradable plastics and recycled plastic from the sea.


Zhao Feng


Zhao Feng, co-owner of Kanghong is a Chinese born engineer based in Foshan. Having obtained a degree from the Wuhan University of Technology, with specializations in mechanical engineering and technology, Zhao Feng first started working for the Wuhan Machinery Corporation, a state-owned corporation and one of Ludovic’s suppliers, in 1992. By the time Ludovic and Zhao Feng met in 1993, Zhao Feng was managing 200 factories for the Corporation.

After his time at Wuhan Machinery Corporation, Zhao Feng spent time living and working in the United States which allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the western concepts of quality demanded by the luxury industry in which the group operates. The unique combination of quality and engineering skills allows Zhao Feng to better work with suppliers and factories in order to ensure an on time and on budget delivery of quality products.

Today, Zhao Feng serves as the CRD (Chief Research and Development Officer) for all Chinese operations. He is based in Foshan. With frequent trip to visit the assembly line in Zhuhai or third party supplier factories all over China, Zhao Feng has a hands on approach which allows him to identify any potential production issues long before they arise, ensuring a smooth production and high quality products.


Fabien Leduc

General Manager

Fabien Leduc, General Manager of Kanghong, is a French national, based in Zhuhai. His first international experience in Asia was in 2003 as a student in Singapore, and since that time his interest in Asia has never stopped growing. After graduation, he spent some years in the Czech Republic before moving back to Asia 10 years ago, first to India and then to China in 2013, initially to Shanghai and is now based in Zhuhai.


Fabien is a Mechanical and Production Engineer by training, and holds an EMBA from INSEAD. He worked for a French International Industrial Group for 15 years, in various operations and executive positions. Whatever the role, the Company, and the location, he has always been driven by developing his team and by delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.


From the selection of the raw materials, to the production processes implemented, all decisions made in Kanghong are taken considering Quality, Safety, People and Cost aspects but these traditional criteria are combined with sustainability to make sure there is the right balance between all these elements.
